Settled. Do we ever really get 100% settled? There’s always something else to do, or desire or be, or something out of our control. So, feeling grateful to be a little more settled in our new home and space. 💋Taking time to host holistic cosmetic events, yoga, birthday parties has been a joy. 🌳Soaking in the time outdoors with eachother. Making time for exploration and getting dirty. Just picking up acorns together as a family was fun. 🆕Just wanted to say thanks for all your support and belief as we have transitioned to so many NEW things this year. 🙏🏻Thanks for cheering us on for who we are in our faith, our personalities and for those that have even supported my small makeup business. Can’t believe it’s that time again! Holistic Living Wellness Workshop time! Our last one was June and it seems too far away. 😮 (Can’t believe I’ve been apart of these workshops for years. Being with friends and community all looking for healthier living) It’s the season of Gratitude so taking time to be in that space as we welcome in new weather, changes and time of year. 🆒 Come be with us for this Fresh for Fall experience and spread a little love around. 🍁
What’s your motto rn? ✨Golden moments come and go, but taking the time for YOU is the real Golden Hour. 💁‍♀️Everyday mama’s, I see you. Sleep is more important right now, when your makeup may not be. (I’ve at least been slapping my skincare on my face, décolleté and hands while running out the door.) Plus, being aware of ingredients is crucial. For breast cancer prevention, it just helps us be more aware. What are we really SLAPPING on our bodies? Most women up to 40+ products a day… 😛 It’s so hard to prioritize for yourself when you barely MAKE LIFE. Running to be on time, with a kid in a poopy diaper, trying to make it to yoga lol (my day.) (I intentionally took some time out to stop, add some glow and color to know that helps me step forward in a brighter way.) 😮‍💨So breathing in deep, and spending a small moment to look my best. Feelin like more changes? Apparently we are. ➡️ Change #3 We’re Homeschooling! Not the whole team, but the youngins’ and we’re thrilled. We have been wanting to make this change for years, but it’s kinda scary, a lot to pivot, we loved our school, and didn’t feel 100% right…yet. We just kept feeling the push more and more each year. The chance to choose our curriculum, have more of a Christian based emphasis, build a new community and just try it! Why not? (Y’all I’m a teacher by trade, and taught for 5 years. I miss it and truly I miss hanging with my crew. 8 hours is a long day 🤩) We know it won’t be perfect, there will be tears, but it feels like the call for more personalized education and time learning together is here! Got any tips or tricks? We got a journey ahead and we’re buckling up. Grateful Texas offers lots of love for homeschooling families and there’s so many Co-ops to help facilitate learning!
